Briefly what is Bhujodi ?

Bhujodi is a small artisan village, about 8 km from Bhuj in Kutch (Gujarat ), known for its traditional Indian textiles. Handwoven by the Vankars (weaving community). Woven on pit looms set into the ground,This style of weaving is over 500–1,000 years old, passed down through generations.  The technique Uses extra weft (called bhiran), where geometric motifs are created by inserting extra threads on the weft. It is not just a craft, but a storytelling medium reflecting local life, beliefs, and rituals.
